This was a collaborative animatic for a conceptual title sequence. A team of four, two of us created the illustrations while myself and my colleague brought them to life in After Effects. What's seen below is my part, which was achieved through puppet animations and diffused light flares.
A major hurdle not seen in this half of the project was the very ending shot, of which I worked on. The goal was to zoom out of pages of a book that flips and closes within a 3D space. Unfortunately, rendering issues forced us to scale down that idea, which served as a significant lesson moving forward.
